I dati e le Informazioni / Data and Information
Data is the raw material of any numerical analysis.
In this case the basic data are represented by prices and quantities of daily time series, or intraday time series for each individual title.
From this raw material it is possible to build a series of other data, defined as derived data, or apply on analysis models in a wide spectrum of different complexity.
From the basic data can be derived an infinite set of derived data, structured in the form of scalars or vectors represented, more generally, by arrays of any size and depth.
On the set of basic data and those derived can then be applied models, based on calculus algorithms, in order to produce new derived data, reports, indicators, charts, analysis useful for the decision support process.
Basic data, derived data, models and algorithms allow you to build the information set, which represent real added value of your work.
On this information set will then be possible to design and build decision models that will be the tool that will help you identify your personal investment strategies.
The decision-making models and the investment strategies will ultimately be thoroughly statistically tested to evaluate their goodness.
